NAMI Sacramento Meetings

Everyone is welcome…

 at the NAMI Sacramento Community Meetings, whether you are a member or not. Our monthly community meetings are a great way to connect with others struggling with mental health issues, learn about mental illness, learn how to assist loved ones, and find resources in the Sacramento area.



Monday May 14th, 7:00 PM

Uma Zykofsky, Director for the Sac County Division of Behavioral Health will be sharing about their Community Alternatives for Recovery and Engagement Plus (CARE+) program, which joins intensive outpatient mental health services with case managed conservatorship.


Jun 11th, 2018

Leilani Pfiefer and Michael Thomas, with Disability Rights California, will share about their programs with Employment Rights and Reasonable Accommodations in the workplace.

Parking is available in the lot in front of the building. The building is secure, so you will have to knock on the door so security staff can let you in.


Most of our monthly meetings feature speakers, people who bring a wealth of information about mental health to the community. Past speakers have included:

  • authors
  • family members
  • medical care providers
  • people living with their own illness
  • researchers

We welcome suggestions for speakers. If you know an individual or group you would like to bring to our attention, please contact us.
